Welcome to battlefield tours

We have been doing field trips to the Ardennes region in Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg since 1992. As from 2007 throughout 2008, 2009 and now 2010 we have produced short video clips from the trips. The clips are now published on YouTube® and easily accessable also through this web site. In 2007 we did not plan to publish them at all why the clips from that year might seem less ”crisp” than later ones.

The purpose of this series of web pages are not one but several. This is an attempt to share what we have gathered during the last few years. As always this is not a static website, material will ge added as we collate and sort out usable material.

The origin of this website is an interest for Military History. Do not mistake this for anything else, our interest in World War II and in particular ”The Battle of the Bulge” is purely historical. We do not want to glorify any actions on either side of the conflict.

Please feel free to contact us at any time through our YouTube® channel: Martinisalive

New!

As we are preparing for the 2010 excursion to the Battlefields you might want to stay tuned to this website for more information.

During the trip 10-14th September 2009 to the Hürtgen

Forest and the Ardennes we did post a few pictures to

our Flickr site in realtime from the location we were

visiting. In 2010 during 1-4 October you are welcome

to check out Flickr again. Enjoy!
